About Brynn

“I didn’t decide to do this work because I love birth (though I feel it is beautiful).  There was a driving force that I couldn’t put my finger on initially.

Then one day, it hit me.  All the stories I have heard, people who hurt because of their birth stories, the way they were talked to, feeling scared or alone, not feeling respected or having the right to autonomy, doctor’s using scare tactics rather than providing information calmly and clearly, trauma to their bodies… this is the source of my passion.

I don’t want to be with people in birth because I enjoy seeing babies born. I want to be with people in birth for the birthing person.

Being an advocate, a calm support, a listening ear, “seeing” the birthing person and helping them to have a better story. Helping them process their feelings when that story doesn’t go the way they had hoped. This is my passion.” –Brynn Klein
