The best way for an individual to find the doula that is right for them is to do a phone interview or a brief meeting in person. It is very important that it feels like a good personality match and you don’t feel pressured by a doula to hire them. Most of us are happy to refer you to other doulas that may be a more suited match, if our meeting doesn’t feel “easy”.
